Wagner in vermont 2024
Returning for the biggest and boldest Wagner in Vermont festival yet, TUNDI Productions presents the beginning and the end of Richard Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen - The Ring Cycle, with two performances each of Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung.
The festival takes place at The Latchis Theatre, Brattleboro VT and opens Friday, August 16 at 7.00pm with the first performance of Das Rheingold. This is closely followed on Saturday, August 17 with our first performance of Götterdämmerung, starting at 3.00pm. Monday through to Thursday will be filled with festival events, which in 2024 will include more staged adaptations than ever before, as well as insightful lectures on a range of Wagner-related topics, and shows by our excellent cover casts. The full schedule will be published once events are confirmed. Then, to complete the festival we have the second performance of Das Rheingold on Friday, August 23, paired with Götterdämmerung on Saturday, August 24.
