What is Wagner in Vermont?

Wagner in Vermont is an annual Wagner festival, in Vermont. It was started by Jenna Rae and Hugh Keelan in 2019.

Where is Wagner in Vermont?

Wagner in Vermont is a small town called Brattleboro, in the southeast corner of Vermont, 10 miles north of the Massachusetts border. It takes place at the Latchis Theatre, on Main Street.

Do you perform anywhere else?

Sometimes we perform concerts at other venues in the area, but our primary home is the Latchis Theatre.

Where can I park?

Brattleboro has several public parking lots just a few minutes walk from the theatre, the nearest being Preston Lot and Flat Street Parking Garage.

How much are tickets?

Tickets to our Main Stage shows (in 2024 Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung) range from $10-$211.

Do you have any discount codes?

We often run ticket offers over on our social media channels. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see the codes.

Is the theater accessible?

All four theaters at the Latchis are accessible to people who use wheelchairs or who have other mobility needs. Wagner in Vermont takes place in the Main Theatre - wheelchair accessible locations can be found in Rows F, W and V, and Transfer arm seats that lift up to create easier access are found in Rows G, H, K, L, Q, R, T. Restrooms off the main lobby each include an accessible stall and sink. Transport chair for patron use is available on site. Please ask theater staff for assistance.

Where can I find the cast list?

The cast list for each festival is available on the festival page. For Wagner in Vermont 2024 see here: FESTIVAL PAGE

Do you perform with an orchestra?

Our mainstage shows (the full operas) are performed with an orchestra. The orchestra ranges from around 21-40 players, depending on the opera and depending on the act in that opera! Our orchestral arrangements are created by our MD and company founder, Hugh Keelan. Other concerts and events are usually accompanied with a piano, or sometimes a small ensemble.

Can I buy a program?

We do not sell programs for our events. Instead we offer a full color digital program which you can download and view on your phone or device, and which is also available to watch as a short video in the lobby of the Latchis Theatre. For the opera performances, cast sheets will be available with simple information as to who is playing which role or instrument.

Do you sell merchandise?

We do - check out our Merch Shop for festival and TUNDI merch.

Will merchandise be available to buy at the festival?

All our merchandise is created through a print-on-demand service, to keep the cost of this to a minimum. This means, we do not have any merchandise available to purchase at the festival. We recommend checking out the shop, and ordering well in time for the festival, as each item is printed to order and delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Will the shows be live-streamed?

No. They may be made available to watch after the festival, on our YouTube channel - but we can’t guarantee this, and the recordings, as great as they are, will never be the same as being there live.

How can I support TUNDI Productions and the Wagner in Vermont festival?

The biggest thing you can do to support the festival is to buy tickets, come and see the shows, and bring all your friends! Beyond that, our primary challenge is our budget. If you would like to support the festival financially, please take a look at our DONATIONS page for information.

Ask us about group discounts if you’re booking 10+ tickets!

Can I audition to sing or play at the festival?

Auditions for singers are usually announced in the Fall, for any vacant positions. Following this, vacant positions are announced throughout the year, both on our website AUDITIONS page, and on our Facebook and Instagram pages.
