Wagner in Vermont 2025 auditions are now closed

We’re looking for you

Who are you?

A singer or orchestra player who wants to perform the music and drama of Wagner, or other great dramatic composers.

Who are we?

TUNDI are;

• dedicated to performing music that summons the deepest emotions and most burning issues of being human

• dedicated to supporting the evolution of Wagnerian singers

• looking for people who are ready to support our mission.

As well as our annual Wagner in Vermont festival, we are planning a variety of other performance activities, with opportunities for singers and instrumentalists. These will range from paid opportunities, free participation, or pay-to-play, depending on what is on offer.

At whatever level you see yourself, as a preliminary step, we would like to know that you are out there and interested. Please send an email of introduction and interest, with links to at least one video of you singing or playing, to Hugh and Jenna at info@tundiproductions.org

Imagine being told you are invited to create together. All you need to do is say yes.

Do you believe that? How long would it take to become a believer? What kind or quantity of questions, what kind or quantity of answers, what kind or quantity of victories, what kind or quantity of missteps, what kind or quantity of being brought back into the fold when you feel unworthy? There is a multifarious moment when you do believe that you are creating together with both your strengths and your weaknesses embraced. It is hard to know which came first, but at this moment your potential is freed and your performance and the rate of your ascendancy magnified. It is hard to put this into words. Tundi is both safe space and brave space intermingled like an operatic yin yang. You stand with one foot in safety and one foot in bravery. You are empowered to become the performer you may or may not currently believe you are.

The outcome is your best performance adhering to the essence of the character and music but fully your own.
