Note from Roseanne: Tundi Productions has gifted me the honor of joining its repertory company on its Wagner journey, for its inaugural season. While I am an accomplished singer and performer, I am new to Wagner. The Tundi repertory collective provides both the perfect environment and guidance for me to explore the Master’s fascinating female roles, starting with Brangäne. Additionally, it thrills me that I will once again share the stage with many of the colleagues with whom I recently performed as Liù in Turandot. Tundi encourages us to take risks and trust the outcome.  It will be a pleasure to return to Vermont to develop my craft and create art for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Wagner audience.  Thank you Tundi, especially Hugh and Jenna, for selecting me to experience this marvellous opportunity!

TUNDI provides both the perfect environment and guidance for me to explore a number of the master’s fascinating female roles…Together, the members of the Tundi troupe conceive of our character motivations. We also brainstorm staging ideas and our dramatic interactions. It is exciting when we land on a brilliant idea and just keeps developing it to a successful outcome. Having staging and artistic advisors grants us the luxury of a safe space for exploration, improvisation and adaptation. I love TUNDI’s realm of possibilities. We take risks with each other and trust in an outcome that results in the making of art. - Roseanne Ackerley, Brangäne in TUNDI’s production of Tristan und Isolde
