Nick is a recent transplant to southern Vermont and has quickly jumped back in to his original passion in his community, making music with others. He grew up in Miami, Florida where he began studying violin at 8 years old. He performed with his school orchestra and a local youth orchestra, the Miami Music Project, under conductor James Judd. He has performed in renowned venues such as Lincoln Center and Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center, and he volunteered weekly with a small ensemble of musicians playing for patients, staff, and visitors at a local hospital in Miami.
Nick spent 6 years in Ann Arbor, Michigan where he pursued his undergraduate neuroscience and Japanese degrees and completed a graduate program in public health at the University of Michigan. He continued to play with the campus orchestras during his time at Michigan and performed with the local Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra. After graduating, he moved to Atlanta, GA where despite the covid lockdowns he continued to pursue his love of orchestra performance through a couple of virtual concerts, no matter how awkward those were! Since moving to Vermont, he has joined the Windham Orchestra and is thrilled to be back to playing in person.
