Grimgerde, Erda Siegfried (RING ‘25)

Toronto born Chantelle Grant is thrilled to debut with Tundi Productions in Vermont singing the role of Grimgerde. Chantelle has had the honour of singing in the recent Metropolitan Opera productions of Fire Shut Up In My Bones, Porgy and Bess, Boris Godunov, Idomeneo and Lohengrin as a member of the chorus. In 2022 Chantelle was a member of the cast of the revised A. Davis opera X: The Life And Times OfMalcolm Xin both the Detroit Opera and Opera Omaha productions.

Chantelle’s roles have included Mme Flora In Menotti’s The Medium, Erda In Wagner’s Siegfried, Monisha in Joplin’s Treemonisha, Mistress Quickly in Verdi’s Falstaff, Madame Larina in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Moyra in Vaughan-Williams' Riders To The Sea, and Mrs. Grose in Britten’s Turn Of The Screw.

Currently a student of Arthur Levy, Ms Grant holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University ofWindsor, an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould Professional School and a Professional Studies Diploma from Mannes College. Chantelle Grant has had the honour of studying with operatic legends Martina Arroyo, Regina Resnik, Jane Eaglen and Christine Goerke.
